    Give the session a clear edge. “How do people describe a place?” is easier to explore than a folder named “Interesting things.”

    Keep the context beside the note.

    Record what a source can show and what it leaves out. A memorable excerpt becomes more useful when its limits are visible.

    Finish with the next thread.

    Leave a small, specific question for your next session. A good stopping point can be an invitation to return.
